From 5c2cdd5ed42d192f2f5330146f0abc1124025a14 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Alan Shaw Date: Wed, 4 Sep 2019 09:48:46 +0100 Subject: [PATCH] docs: add ship date and next release issue opening time Adds estimated shipping date (can be fuzzy) to the release issue template and clarifies the time before which the next release issue should be opened. This communicates expectations for when the new release is due and will help with planning of included features. The community could even suggest inclusions. --- docs/RELEASE_ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md | 5 ++++- docs/releases.md | 4 +++- 2 files changed, 7 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/docs/RELEASE_ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md b/docs/RELEASE_ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md index ce12dc105..48dc9cefe 100644 --- a/docs/RELEASE_ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md +++ b/docs/RELEASE_ISSUE_TEMPLATE.md @@ -8,6 +8,10 @@ We're happy to announce go-ipfs X.Y.Z, bla bla... +# 🚢 Estimated shipping date + + + ## 🔦 Highlights < top highlights for this release notes > @@ -103,4 +107,3 @@ Would you like to contribute to the IPFS project and don't know how?
